The mission of the Style Across the Aisle Foundation is to strengthen civic life by investing in the cultural, creative, educational, and community ecosystems that help neighborhoods thrive. Through fashion, storytelling, public service, and community-centered programming, the Foundation creates opportunities for local leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, educators, public servants, nonprofit partners, and residents to convene, collaborate, learn from one another, and build authentic relationships across industries, backgrounds, neighborhoods, and perspectives.
The Foundation extends the mission of the Style Across the Aisle runway show year-round by investing in both vocational and traditional fashion education programs, supporting emerging designers, makers, and creative talent, and helping build pathways into New York's creative economy. Through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, workforce programs, and community organizations, the Foundation works to create opportunities that last beyond the runway — inviting participants not only to showcase their work, but to model dignity, curiosity, respect, civic responsibility, and a shared commitment to the communities they serve.
